If you’re getting ready to sell your home, consider staging it. Staging a home is when you decorate one or more rooms to entice buyers to make an offer. Usually you stage the kitchen, great room or living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom.
Costs vary across the country, but staging is well worth the cost. I speak from experience. We staged
our last renovation before we listed it for sale. Within 48 hours after it hit the MLS, we had 6 offers, and sold the home for over 15% above the list price. Other factors contributed to this happy outcome, including a great realtor, a hot neighborhood, and a great GC who managed fantastic renovation, but staging added the final “kick”.
